Volunteer Opportunities
We have many volunteer opportunities from volunteering on an event day to helping plan our core programs/services
Interns
The Fall/Spring/Summer intern will be responsible for working with a MFFC leadership team member in a number of projects happening during their term of service.
Those projects may be working to promote our Mattapan Flavors class, working with our Farmers Market manager to put on an awesome farmers market season, assisting with building relationships with our supporters, helping to put on our Moving For Life event, or helping to create structures within our organization.

Each of these projects are needed in the Mattapan community and organization. You can be a part of making it happen!

Short term
This opportunity is wonderful for those who are looking to help out the day of with one of our events. For the 2021 year we are looking for volunteers to help at the 11th Annual Mattapan on Wheels Bike-a-thon and the Mattapan Square Farmers Market.
Longer term
This opportunity is wonderful for those who are looking to help with the planning of our programs or events. Roles includes getting the word out, helping with volunteer orientation, idea generation, data collection and evaluation, and more
