Mattapan Food and Fitness Coalition (MFFC) and the Neponset River Watershed Association (NEPWA) hosted the 15th annual Mattapan on Wheels — bringing neighbors together, promoting health and joy, and spreading community throughout the streets of Mattapan.

This year, the bike routes were designed to guide riders through the most stunning green and blue spaces the area has to offer. This allows for an immersive experience in nature as you pedal to locales like the sandy shores of Tenean Beach, the riverside trails and rocky shorelines of Chapel Rocks, and the weeping coastal scenery and beachside breezes of Castle Island. Each turn and trail promise picturesque views and the refreshing embrace of the great outdoors.

At the end of the bike ride, participants learned more about MFFC's and their partners walking, biking, and public transit advocacy efforts, experienced delicious food from local food trucks, and enjoyed music.
